Two South African Radio Amateurs die in the Libyan Air Crash
It is with great sadness that the SAWDIS has learned of the death of two South African Radio Amateurs on board the the Afriqiyah Airways plane that crashed in Tripoli yesterday.
They were:
SK ZS6ANL Norbert Taferner
SK ZS6A Anton Matthee
SK = Silent Key
The SAWDIS's deepest sympathy goes to the family and friends of both radio amateurs and others that died in the crash. The presence of both these two radio amateurs will be sorely missed in Amateur Radio in South Africa.
